今集《美食新聞報道》「故事味緣」主角是一間扎根沙田超過60年歷史的麵檔,B哥是麵店的第三代傳人,而93歲的B媽就是一家人的軸心!
B媽堅持每日到店開工原來有私心?B哥爆料媽媽喜歡打麻雀,話一出口,身旁的B媽立即反駁:「媽媽一年打過一次麻雀?」B哥即補充:「我話鍾意啫,係冇人陪佢打」母子互動非常有趣。
B媽調味的鹹魚蒸肉餅充滿家的味道,深受街坊喜愛!而另一道招牌鮮蝦雲吞麵亦是店內靈魂。B哥堅持「即包即煮即食」,用鮮蝦、豬肉等為主材料,包好的雲吞下鍋煮2分鐘左右,再加入麵燙30秒,而雲吞麵的靈魂湯底則日熬16個小時。
守住招牌一點都不容易,幾年前街市被收購,租金大幅增加,B哥決定將麵店轉型,推出夜市打邊爐。雪梨鯊魚骨雞湯鍋底,包含豬骨、元貝等材料,湯底清潤得來,既有海鮮的鮮甜。回憶起母親曾獨自一人撐餐廳,辛苦養育6個子女,B哥眼泛淚光並哽咽道:「只要佢鐘意,盡力滿足佢」母子情相當動人。

無菜單料理姨姨金美玲的餐廳位於首爾京東市場,比賽時的手工湯麵曾打動兩位評審,更惹哭不少觀眾。大廚原本家境富裕,卻突然家道中落,父親因此病重,母親於街市售賣湯麵以兼顧養家重任,而金美玲由討厭到擔起自家招牌,安東湯麵可謂是她的人生料理!安東湯麵,折合港幣約$43.5, 湯底偏清淡的口感,湯頭用蘿蔔、韓國小鯷魚等熬製,佐以蒜及青陽椒,層次更加豐富。白菜煎餅,折合港幣約$43.5。

來到有「點心女王」之稱的鄭智善主理餐廳,最期待莫過於她參賽時製作的麻辣奶油炸蝦球!麻辣奶油蝦,折合港幣約$195,米紙取代春捲皮,依然很脆,蝦肉彈牙;韭菜水晶餃,折合港幣約$54,皮薄餡靚,大隻鮮蝦,韭菜新鮮爽口;魚香茄子肉丸,折合港幣約$212,茄子表皮鬆脆,茄肉嫩滑,再加上酸甜醬汁,送飯一流!
